The University Catholic Community is the Catholic community for the students at the University of Texas Arlington. We are here to serve the students of UTA by offering opportunities to grow in faith and fellowship! We host many events here at the UCC and we partner with the Diocese of Ft. Worth Young Adult Council so that students can meet other young adults in the Arlington/Ft. Worth area.
We are open year-round but our events do follow the UTA school year calendar. We have Mass and events during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the summer, feel free to stop in to just hang out or spend some time in prayer!
Our ministry consists of one full time Diocesan employee and a part time student worker. We are only able to do all that we do because of our AMAZING volunteers! Our local Catholic community is so incredibly generous. Local priests from around the Diocese serve our Mass, volunteers oversee our music and lawn care, and local Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club provide a FREE lunch for our students! We are truly, truly blessed to have so many people who make the UCC great!
Of course, we wouldn’t be here at all if it weren’t for the students of UTA! This is YOUR ministry Mavericks! We can’t wait for you to join in the fun!
